Elizabeth Bennett came to us with a challenge: she needed a logo to compete in Mess Hall’s food startup challenge in less than two weeks (for the potential to win a $500k investment in her business!) and she had nothing but a great concept and a name. Fruitcycle is a social enterprise that makes delicious, healthy, locally sourced apple snacks from fallen fruit. They use produce that would otherwise go to waste and provide jobs for women who have been formerly incarcerated, homeless, or are otherwise disadvantaged. With less than two weeks to go, we designed logo for Fruitcycle, plus concept packaging, and she took home the audience choice award at the competition!

Fruitcycle’s delicious apple chips needed packaging that was going to be equally delicious. We took inspiration from apple colors to create juicy packaging that talked about the the social mission of Fruitcycle and would work well with the clear bags chosen to display the product.
